Ausgelost wird er durch den KNVB, den Königlich-Niederländischen Fußball-Bund (Koninklijke Nederlandse Voetbal Bond).

Geschichte
Nach dem Vorbild des englischen FA Cup wurde 1899 erstmals auch im niederländischen Fußball ein landesweiter Pokalwettbewerb ausgetragen. Der ursprünglich Holdertbeker ("Holdert-Pokal" nach dem Stifter) genannte Wettbewerb wurde später nach dem ausrichtendem Fußball-Bund in KNVB-Beker umbenannt. 1995 bekam er dann wieder den Namen des Sponsors (einer Biermarke) und hieß seither Amstel Cup. 2005 wechselte der Sponsor und der Bewerb wurde in Gatorade Cup umbenannt.

Rekorde
Rekordpokalsieger: Ajax Amsterdam (17 Pokalsiege)

Die niederländischen Pokalsieger

* 1899 RAP Amsterdam
* 1900 Velocitas Breda
* 1901 HBS Den Haag
* 1902 HFC Haarlem
* 1903 HVV Den Haag
* 1904 Haarlemsche Football Club
* 1905 VOC Rotterdam
* 1906 Concordia Delft
* 1907 VOC Rotterdam
* 1908 HBS Den Haag II
* 1909 Quick Den Haag II
* 1910 Quick Den Haag II
* 1911 Quick Den Haag
* 1912 HFC Haarlem
* 1913 Haarlemsche FC
* 1914 FC Dordrecht
* 1915 Haarlemsche FC
* 1916 Quick Den Haag
* 1917 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1918 RCH Haarlem
* 1919 nicht ausgespielt
* 1920 CVV Rotterdam
* 1921 Schoten
* 1922-24 nicht ausgespielt
* 1925 Zaandamse Football Club
* 1926 LONGA
* 1927 VUC
* 1928 RCH Haarlem
* 1929 nicht ausgespielt
* 1930 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1931 nicht ausgespielt
* 1932 FC Dordrecht
* 1933 nicht ausgespielt
* 1934 Velocitas Groningen
valign="top" |
* 1935 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1936 Roermond
* 1937 FC Eindhoven
* 1938 VSV
* 1939 Wageningen
* 1940-42 nicht ausgespielt
* 1943 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1944 Willem II Tilburg
* 1945 nicht ausgespielt
* 1946/47 nicht ausgespielt
* 1948 Wageningen
* 1949 Quick Nijmegen
* 1950 PSV Eindhoven
* 1950-56 nicht ausgespielt
* 1957 Fortuna '54
* 1958 Sparta
* 1959 VVV
* 1960 nicht ausgespielt
* 1961 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1962 Sparta
* 1963 Willem II Tilburg
* 1964 Fortuna '54
* 1965 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1966 Sparta
* 1967 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1968 ADO Den Haag
* 1969 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1970 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1971 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1972 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1973 NAC Breda
* 1974 PSV Eindhoven
* 1975 FC Den Haag
valign="top" |
* 1976 PSV Eindhoven
* 1977 FC Twente Enschede
* 1978 AZ Alkmaar '67
* 1979 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1980 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1981 AZ Alkmaar '67
* 1982 AZ Alkmaar '67
* 1983 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1984 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1985 FC Utrecht
* 1986 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1987 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1988 PSV Eindhoven
* 1989 PSV Eindhoven
* 1990 PSV Eindhoven
* 1991 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1992 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1993 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1994 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1995 Feyenoord Rotterdam
* 1996 PSV Eindhoven
* 1997 Roda JC Kerkrade
* 1998 Ajax Amsterdam
* 1999 Ajax Amsterdam
* 2000 Roda JC Kerkrade
* 2001 FC Twente Enschede
* 2002 Ajax Amsterdam
* 2003 FC Utrecht
* 2004 FC Utrecht
* 2005 PSV Eindhoven
* 2006 Ajax Amsterdam
* 2007 Ajax Amsterdam
* 2008 Feyenoord Rotterdam

Kategorie:Fußballwettbewerb in den Niederlanden

ca:Copa neerlandesa de futbol
el:Κύπελλο Ολλανδίας
en:KNVB Cup
es:Copa de los Países Bajos
fi:KNVB-cup
fr:Coupe des Pays-Bas de football
it:Coppa d'Olanda
ja:KNVBカップ
lt:Nyderlandų futbolo taurė
nl:KNVB beker
pl:Puchar Holandii w piłce nożnej
pt:Copa dos Países Baixos
tr:KNVB Kupası
vi:Cúp bóng đá Hà Lan
zh:荷蘭盃
El Fino
